The production cycle of maize culture begins with market analysis, in which the area are to be grown is defined. Subsequently, crops and all planning and the execution of necessary agricultural activities are defined. After harvested, the corn grain is stored on the farm until it is sold to customers in the domestic and foreign markets. The final destination of corn is as the main energy component of feed for poultry, pigs and cattle, in the meat production process, intended for human consumption. Only a smaller portion of the produced corn volume is used directly in the human diet, such as flours, oils, sweeteners, pasta and biscuits, among other foods in which corn is a component.
